Symptoms

When attempting to build Financial Aid Term (FA Term) in batch, the FAPTRMU1 cobol process takes too long to run - sometimes many hours. Often, the decrease in performance is sudden, after it had previously been running efficiently, and follows some kind of major environment change - such as an application upgrade, or an upgrade of Tools or the Database.
