E-WF: Unable To Send Emails From Any Notify Button Within PIA

On : 8.56.04 version, Workflow
When attempting to use any Notifiy in this CS 9.2 Pi 7 environment, the email does not get sent. When the PeopleTools, Workflow, Defaults & Messages, Worklist/Email Message page is used, to send Email to specific user, the email does arrive. With the SMTPTrace=1 on, the following error showed up in the SMTPM_D.log.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to PeopleTools, Workflow, Defaults & Messages, Worklist/Email Message
2. Press the Notify button.
3. Enter Email id, and press ok
4. Observe error in SMTP log.
