Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to run the ISIR File Load Cobol FAPSAR00, the process finishes in a status of 'success', but no records are processed, and the cobol log shows a message indicating the aid year being processed is not supported. The below is an example of the messaging in the cobol log after attempting to run the process for Aid Year 2024.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > ISIR Import > Process ISIRs > ISIR File Load and run the process.
  2. Click link to Process Monitor and note when the process finishes in 'Success' status.
  3. Click 'Details' link for the instance, then the link that says 'View Log/Trace', then the link to the FAPSAR00 log file in the file list and review the log message.

Changes

The issue typically occurs after applying a new PUM Image or application fixes that deliver a new version of the FAPSAR00 cobol source code (FAPSAR00.cbl).
