Symptoms
If Notification Template LM_SCHEDULE_ENRLMT_NOTIF set to inactive, Notifications are still triggered to Learners that have Planned Status for the Course
Additional information: Planned status occurs when a class is not available for a course, once a class becomes available, the learners get an automatic email notifying them they can enroll.
Steps to Replicate Issue:
- Log in as an Administrator
- Navigate to Main Menu >Peopletools >Notifications > Generic Notifications >{search/select} Notification Template LM_SCHEDULE_ENRLMT_NOTI
- Inactivate the notification
- Create Classes for the Course that Learners have as Planned status
- Then, navigate to Main Menu > Enterprise Learning >Notifications > Enrollment Notifications > run process LM_NOTIFY, notice Learners received notifications from Notification Template LM_SCHEDULE_ENRLMT_NOTIF.
