Symptoms
After applying the Oracle October CPU Patch 28689165 for the Data Base Client, Tuxedo Domain PeopleSoft Servers error on boot and log the following message
PSPPMSRV: symbol lookup error: /opt/fedex/oracle/product/client/lib/libclntsh.so.11.1: undefined symbol: ztca_RNGInit (stderr)
Tuxedo logs the following to the TUXLOG:
CMDTUX_CAT:1864: INFO: Process ID=82744 Assume failed (pipe).
tmboot: CMDTUX_CAT:827: ERROR: Fatal error encountered; initiating user error handler
Rolling back the Database patch allows PSoft Servers to boot normally.
