E-DPK : Unable to apply Middleware Patches(CPUs, POCs, and IDDAs) Using DPK (Doc ID 2470723.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.56 version, Install and Packaging

When attempting to patch middleware using PT8.56 DPK
the following error occurs.

Usage: sh psft-dpk-setup.sh [-h|--help] [--dpk_src_dir <dpk_src_dir>] [--env_type dbtier|midtier|fulltier]
[--patches_dir <patches_dir>] [--log_file <log_file>] [--no_puppet_run] [--cleanup]

Usage: sh psft-dpk-setup.sh [-h|--help] [--dpk_src_dir <dpk_src_dir>] [--env_type ]
[--domain_type all|appserver|prcs|pia|appbatch] [--no_puppet_run] [--cleanup]

OR

Usage: sh psft-dpk-setup.sh [-h|--help] [--dpk_src_dir <dpk_src_dir>] [--env_type ]
[--deploy_only [--deploy_type all|tools_home|app_home|app_and_tools_home]]
[--no_puppet_run] [--cleanup]
OR

Usage: sh psft-dpk-setup.sh [-h|--help] [--silent --response_file <response_file>]

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. run command
sh psft-dpk-setup.sh --patches_dir /tmp/patches
