E-WL: Erroneous substitutions in web.xml in multi-channel PIA site when running PsMpPIAInstall/setup.sh using EXISTING_DOMAIN and ADD_SITE options (Doc ID 2470815.1)

Symptoms

When setting up a multi-channel PIA site in PeopleTools 8.56.xx, the following steps may be performed to setup PIA: 

     1. Run PsMpPIAInstall/setup.sh using NEW_DOMAIN and CREATE_NEW_DOMAIN on initial PIA site creation attempt 

     2. Run PsMpPIAInstall/setup.sh using EXISTING_DOMAIN and ADD_SITE on subsequent PIA site creation attempts

After step 1, when you examine the following files, you will notice the presence of the cookie name and cookie domain in weblogic.xml and the well-formed nature of web.xml. 

     1. $PIA_HOME/applications/peoplesoft/PORTAL.war/WEB-INF/weblogic.xml 

     2. $PIA_HOME/applications/peoplesoft/PORTAL.war/WEB-INF/web.xml 

After step 2 (with EXISTING_DOMAIN & ADD_SITE), examine the same two files and note the cookie name and cookie domain have been omitted in weblogic.xml, and that web.xml contains the following failed substitutions:
