Transactions from Smart HR Template Creating duplicate compensation pay component rows

When submitting a Smart HR transaction for a Hourly to Salary job change the record inserts 1 row into job data as expected however on the compensation tab there are 2 rows for the pay components. One row with a rate code of NAANNL which contains the annual rate of pay for the employee. The other row within the pay components has a rate code of NAHRLY which contains the hourly rate of pay for the employee.

These 2 rows being created by the Smart HR transaction within the pay components section of the compensation tab is inflating the employees compensation rate.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a SmartHR template for promotion of employees.
2. Create a transaction for an employee going from Hourly to salary.
3. Pull up Job row for the employee and notice two compensation rows, one for NAHRLY and NAANNL.
