EOAW_COMMENT process not converting special characters

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Customer ran following process: EOAW_COMMENT, to convert special characters but still seeing these special characers. Example: \n, \&#039, etc.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect EOAW_COMMENTS process to convert special characters like \m, \n.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter approver comments in approval workflow with \n etc and submit.
2. Go to Main Menu>PeopleTools>Process Scheduler>System Process requests
3. Run EOAW_COMMENTS process
4. Query EOAW_COMMENTS table to see that special character still exists.
