Last updated on JULY 09, 2020

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, PUM # 28. 2.4 Lease Maintenance

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Lease Admin - Straightline Calculation does not return correct amount when it is processing a retired lease

When a lease is retired early, Straightline generates incorrect amounts each time that it is run.

It looks like when a lease is retired early, the only straightline information should be the ones that have been processed. It changes the processed amounts on the first run and if you retire assets after, it changes the amount of the straightline to the amount of the new lease.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Straightline entries should have correct values.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Add a Lease
Run Straitghline process
Run AMDPCALC, amaedist, amdpclose
Expire the Lease
Run all the process.
Review manual straight line entries.
Now add another lease with similar parameters.
Run straightline process
Run AM_DEPR_CALC, AM_AMAEDIST, AM_DPCLOSE
Expire the second lease.
Run all the processes.
Review the straightline entries.

Result: The entries for first lease changed to the values of the second lease.
