Delegated access accepted with expired security key
Student granted access to their parent and then delete and re-invited them with the same email address. But mistakenly parent used the expired security key to accept their access and were able to complete the process with no error. There is no error message notified that the key is expired.
There must be an error message when expired security access was used in the registration process
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Student homepage-> Share My information. In Security tab, add and then delete and then again add parent with same email ID by clicking on Delegate Access to A New Contact button.
2. Now go to New User Registration page and create an account to log in. Use the expired security key. No error message triggered. Saved successfully.
