Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Issue:
Chartfields hidden on the Employee Privilege Template display in the Accounting Details section of both a Travel Authorization and Expense Report. The Employee Privilege Template is configured to hide the Account field. When additional chartfield lines are added on the Accounting Defaults page the hidden fields display on the inserted chartfield lines. The first line does not display the hidden chartfield values.

Replication Steps:
1 - Configure the Employee Privilege Template. All Accounting/GL ChartField values set to Modify
2 - Select ChartFields to Display. Account is not selected.
3 - Attach the Template to the Business Unit
4 - Create a Travel Authorization or an Expense Report and expand the Accounting Details section.
5 - Go to the Accounting Defaults page and add an additional ChartField Line.
6 - Click OK to return to the Create TA or ER page. The Account field displays on the inserted chartfield line.

Please see replication steps document for more details.

Actual Results - ChartFields that are not added to the Employee Privilege Template are displaying on the inserted distribution lines

Expected Results - Only the Chartfields defined on the Employee Privilege Template should display on all of the distribution lines of a Travel Authorization or Expense Report.
