TAM Apply For Job Review And Submit Step Allows Submission After Deleting Required Attachments (Doc ID 2497477.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Application can be submitted without required attachments

Our client is implementing careers for external applicants. They have created a resume template that includes attachments where the attachments are required. When the external applicant applied, they must add an attachment on the attachment step of the application. However, when the applicant gets to the Review and Submit page, they click the '>' button to modify the attachments in the attachment section and they can delete attachment and submit the application without any validation that the attachment is there. Shouldn't an error be generated stating that an attachment is required like they get when they are on the attachment step of the application?

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

should not be able to progress the application when attachment is required, yet has been deleted.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
when the applicant gets to the Review and Submit page, they click the '>' button to modify the attachments in the attachment section and they can delete attachment and submit the application without any validation that the attachment is there.

1. Resume Template Set Up:
The resume template is set up to have attachments and those attachments are set to be
required.

2.Submitting the Application
When on the external careers site, click on Apply on Job and go through the resume steps that
are displayed. On the attachment step (step 3), you can see that Attachments are set as
required.
If you click on next before adding attachments then an error generated to indicate that an
attachment is required.

3.Once an attachment is added, you are able to click on Next.

Once on the Review and submit page, you can see the file that is attached and you can modify
the attached file.
When you click on the ‘>’ button, a popup box will show up that allows you to modify or delete
the attachment file.

4. Delete the attachment.
Once the attachment is deleted, click on the Submit button. The application is submitted
successfully. This is incorrect as an attachment is required.

5. You can confirm that no attachment was added when you review the submitted application.
