Adding a New Contact Overwrites Primary Contact When the Description Field is Blank

It has been reported that Vendor Users are able to overwrite their primary contact by adding a new contact in eSupplier. This only appears to occur when the description field of the original contact is blank. Once the user adds a new contact, the original primary contact information is completely gone which can cause issues with business processes that rely on up to date and correct contact information.

The original contact should not be replace entirely

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Log into Application and pick a supplier at random that has only one contact
2.Logged in as VP1, I clear the description field of the supplier contact and leave it blank.
3.I then log into the suppliers account and Navigate to Main Menu> Maintain Supplier Information> Contacts
4.From there,I see that the change was successful
5.I then click new contact and fill in the information with data
6. click Save
7.The original contact is now replaced entirely
