Hazard Icon In Weekly Schedule For Students After The Upgrade From CS 9.0 Bundle 38 To CS9 (Doc ID 2503223.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 28, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 9.2 version, Student Records Self Service

In 9.0 student enrolled in a class where there are multiple meeting patterns (for the same course) scheduled at the same day and time for different rooms would see them highlighted on the grid as a ‘conflict’ the same way as if they were enrolled in two different classes at the day / time.

However, 9.2 PUM 1, this is now a hazard icon that displays with the overlapping meeting patterns. This icon while appropriate for true conflicts between different classes is causing confusion and concern for students enrolled in classes with multiple assigned Facilities scheduled at the same time

For the system to act the same as in 9.0

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enroll students in class that have multiple meeting patterns scheduled at the same time and day with different rooms.
2. Go to My Weekly Schedule and note the Hazard Icon showing for time conflicts
