E-PG: Pivot Grid Chart Is Not Showing The Correct Column Height (Doc ID 2506097.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 07, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.55 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running Pivot Grids with Charts, the Column Heights in the Charts, mainly for values less than 30 do not show the Correct Height compared to the Values itself.
The Values are correct but the Column Height is rounded up or down to the horizontal lines in the Chart.
The issue happens to only European formatted numbers with comma as a Decimal Separator value.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to PIA
2. Set the Regional Settings as follows:
2.1. Navigate to My Preferences, then select the Regional Settings
2.2. Change the 'Decimal Separator' from dot to comma and 'Digit Group Separator' from comma to dot
2.3. Then Save
3. Navigate to Reporting Tools > Pivot Grid > Pivot Grid Wizard/Viewer
4. Run a Pivot Grid to Chart, the report should use a 'Currency Control' to better simulate the issue
