EMM: Linking A Work Order To A Requisition Not Populating Unit Of Measure (Doc ID 2507250.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Maintenance Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We recently upgraded to PeopleTools 8.55. Since then work orders that are linked to a requisition are not populating the UOM of measure field. This is the UOM field in the Purchase/On Hand tab of the schedules section of the work order. Since the unit of measure is missing, the work order cannot be saved, meaning that no additional information can be added to the work order. It essentially is locked at that point.

Expected Behavior

The expectation is that the unit of measure will be populated on the work order when linked to a requisition.
1 Create work order and save.
2 Add new requisition via Purchasing> Requisitions> Add/Update Requisitions
3 Click on Requisition Defaults.
4 Click on Override radio button and fill in line, schedule and distribution info. Click OK.
5 Fill in line info on Requisition and save.
6 Click on distribution icon
7 Fill in Work Order information.
8 On details tab click on distribution icon, Changed account. Not sure if this matters but it was in customer’s use case.
9 Click OK and save.
10 Navigate back to Work Order and refresh
11 UOM is missing.

Business Impact
Due to this issue, affected work orders cannot be saved or processed.
