E-XMLP: Sporadic "Content Encoding Error" When User Tries to View A Report (Doc ID 2511749.1)

User who submits a report is unable to view the report output file from Report Manager in many cases and receives the below error when clicking on the log file link from Process Monitor. In checking the process request "Details" message log information it can also be seen that the output was posted to the repository successfully indicated by the following message showing in the message log table... "Successfully posted generated files to the report repository".

An error occurred during a connection to <replace with machine_name.domain.com here>.

  Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
 
 
Replication Steps
--------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Submit any report to be scheduled via the Process Scheduler
2. Attempt to view report output from Report Manager or view log/trace information from Process Monitor
3. Observe reported error
