Social Security Number (SSN or NID) is the most sensitive personal information that institute store. Privacy concerns over SSN have increased rapidly in the just the past couple of years. Customer need a better way to secure access to SSN. Right now, customer need to make data updates on the Add/Update a Person page, but who should not be able to see or change SSN. Customer have a few users who need to see SSN, but who are not supposed to do other data entry. The ideal option would be to move SSN to a separate tab on the Add/Update a Person page. That would keep the data in the same table, but allow user to specifically assign security for SSN. Moving SSN to a separate tab would solve both sides of this security challenge and would also allow us to quickly audit which users have access to this information.
