EGL9.2: Allocations Not Creating Journals When Chartfield Values On Pool Or Basis Are Derived From A Tree Whose Tree Structure Has a Custom Record For Tree Nodes (Doc ID 2515827.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When Allocation is set up to use All nodes of tree to derive chartfield values, it created allocation journals.

When any actual tree node is used, it doesn't create allocation journals.

Steps to Replicate:
1. Create an allocation step using a tree node in the basis.
2. Include the Allocation step in a process group
3. Request to run Allocation process

Actual Behavior:

Allocation didn't create journal when chartfields of Pool or Basis are specified from a set of tree nodes.

Expected Behavior:

Allocation should create journals as a valid tree was used.
