E-PORTAL: Favorites in iHub Do Not Work in Classic Mode After PeopleTools 8.56 Upgrade (Doc ID 2519283.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Favorites do not work after PeopleTools 8.56 upgrade

After upgrading the iHub Portal to 8.56.x and Classic Favorites no longer work.

Links in the Recently Used drop down work but not the Favorites.

This ONLY affects the iHub and not content providers on the same tools release.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Favorites in classic mode should save correctly

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Portal in classic view
2. Click on Favorites
3 .Click on PeopleTools Options (which was just recently added, after the upgrade) and nothing occurs.
4) SQL the PSPRUFDENF table to see the link was added

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add favorites in PT 8.56 classic mode to portal
