Population Update of STDNT_FA_TERM Incorrectly Sets Overrides on Weeks of Instruction and FA Number of Weeks (Doc ID 2521181.1)

Last updated on APRIL 28, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running Population Update (Pop Update) to update Financial Aid Term (FA Term), the process is setting the override for the weeks of instruction and fa number of weeks when those fields are not being updated.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Set up Pop Update for STDNT_FA_TERM, including rows WEEKS_OF_INSTRUCT and FA_NUMBER_OF_WEEKS and at least one other field
  2. Run the Pop Update to update a field, but not either of the two weeks fields

Changes

PUM 12 included a bug fix related to Pop Update and FA Term to address overrides that hadn't been getting set properly since PUM 8.
