E-NV: Error: "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened." Seen When Opening NVision Generated .XLSX Output From Report Manager. (Doc ID 2522922.1)

Upon running nVision processes after upgrading to PT 8.55.26 and trying to open the report output in .XLSX format from report manager the following error is seen:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps

1. Navigate to psprcs.cfg file under process scheduler domain and make sure UseExcelAutomation=0 under nVision section.

2. Navigate to Reporting Tools > nVision > Define Report Request.

3. Select a business unit and run the report.

4. Open the Report from report manager.
