GP CORE: PSARCHIVE Performance Issue. (Doc ID 2526970.1)

Symptoms

 Customer is running the delivered PSARCHIVE process to archive the Global Payroll results data from year 2013 to 2016. Deletion process of PSARCHIVE is taking long time to run and delete the data specially from GP_RSLT_ACUM table which has about total 0.7 billion rows. Deletion process after running for about 15 hours is getting hung.
The production database is running in the archival mode and since it is performing lot of IO which is generating huge archival logs of about 700 GB + and causing production to stuck and go down.
