CURSOR_SHARING parameter in Oracle Database for PeopleSoft Applications

A process which was taking 3-5 minutes in Production started taking 30-35 minutes.
DBA changed the CURSOR_SHARING parameter from EXACT to FORCE, this process then started completing within 3-5 minutes.

2504287.1 suggests setting CURSOR_SHARING to EXACT for PeopleSoft.

Question:
Are there any negative impacts for PeopleSoft applications if CURSOR_SHARING is set to FORCE?
