Using Previous and Next buttons Multiple Times on the Adhoc Salary Change Transaction of Manager Self Service causes "Missing Message" (18031,0) Error (Doc ID 2530916.1)

Symptoms

 

When attempting to enter Ad-Hoc Salary change as a Manager, and choosing to navigate with the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons multiple times, users receive a message :



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Manager Self Service - Select Employee for Salary Change - Enter date and reason
2. Click next and enter new amount and comments
3. Click on previous button twice
4. Select Date again
5. Click on next twice
6. Click on Submit
7. Receive Message
