On : 8.56 version, PIA Core Technology

 

Issue reported on PT8.56.14.

 

The PS_DEVICEFEATURES Cookie Is Getting Duplicated When Accessing PeopleSoft With The Public User Or With 3rd Party Single Signon (SSO) Solutions.

When that happens, trying to access a Page through a link, gets the user to the logout page due to Timeout.

 

The issue was observed on Chrome. It did not replicate on Internet Explorer.

 

One example of that behavior was observed on Candidate Gateway.

After clicking on the link to Candidate Gateway, the system kept spinning until timeout.

1. Access the Public Careers site - Candidate Gateway.

2. Page spins to timeout.

 


The issue was reported on the Candidate Gateway use case, but it is observed whenever bypassing the signon (through Public User account) and/or External Single Signon is setup.
