E-PORTAL/E-PIA: Content Provider Fluid Page Is Not Rendering Correctly. Page Is Garbled. (Doc ID 2531775.1)

On : 8.55 version, Portal Technology

Issue reported on:
Portal Solutions 9.10 PUM Image# 3 on PT8.55.20
Campus Solutions 9.2 on PeopleTools 8.55.20

Load Balancer, Reverse Proxy and External Single Signon (Shibboleth) is in place.


When trying to access a Component, coming from a Homepage Tile defined in Portal iHub, the Component Search Page does not render properly.
No criteria is rendered. Instead, a white page with no buttons, no images is rendered with objects all aligned to the left and incomplete.

Issue is consistently reproduced in Desktop, emulating mobile, and on mobile devices, regardless of browser in use.

Issue only observed when the 3rd party External Single Signon was configured for the environment.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Portal on mobile device or on desktop browser, emulating mobile
2. Select the Contributor Relations Homepage
3. Click on the Donor Prospects Tile
4. The Prospect Search Page loads and it is not operational.
    No criteria is rendered. Instead, a white page with no buttons, no images is rendered with objects all aligned to the left and incomplete.

In Fiddler a number of requests to images (svg and gif), css, and javascripts are denied (403 - Forbidden).
