Symptoms
Positive Input by Template page not validating overrides
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to
Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Elements > Payroll Elements > Positive Input Templates
Look at Template KAREGULAR
In the box Supporting Element Overrides, you can see that system element DEPTID is used.
Now have a look at this system element by going to
2. Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Elements > Supporting Elements > System Elements
Look at DEPTID
On the page 'Source and Use' you can see that there is a prompt view DEPT_TBL
Now go to the page where this template is used
3. Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Prepare Payroll > Positive Input by Template
Select the same template KAREGULAR
In the payee list, go to tab 'Supporting Elements'
You can see department but it is free text, there is no prompt view.
There should be a prompt view on this page.
