Financial Aid Self Service Accept/Decline Needs Review Status (Doc ID 2533530.1)

When using accept/decline Financial Aid in self service, some students go into a 'Needs Review' status when the awards are posted in real time. Sometimes this will begin happening at a certain juncture to a group of students. The affected students cannot take any further actions as the page is grayed out. Staff can fix the situation either by re-posting the awards, or manually updating the status on the View Self Service Activity component, but how can it be determined what caused a student to go into the 'Needs Review' status in the first place?
