Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise ELM Enterprise Learning Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In Classic , Find Learning page, the users will have displayed the number of courses setup to be displayed in "Maximum Rows Returned For Search".
However, the user is informed about the actual number of courses available.
In Fluid this is not happening, why is that?

Steps:

1. Login to PeopleSoft using a super user and Navigate to Setup ELM > Install Default then verify the value of “Maximum Rows Returned For Search”
2. Now go to Fluid ‘Find Learning’, click on the ‘Search’ button on the find learning tile
3. Look at the search results and notice on the ’74 search Results’, which is correct
4. Again Navigate to Setup ELM > Install Default then verify the value of “Maximum Rows Returned For Search”, change it to 20 as below and save the page
5. Now go to Fluid ‘Find Learning’  again and click on the ‘Search’ button on the find learning tile
6. Look at the search results and notice on the ’18 search Results’, end user will not be knowing about other results (but displays message in classic search as (There were 104 results found. Only the first 20 will be displayed.)
7. Now verify the same using classic search results, from Manager Self Service > Team Learning
8. Then click on the ‘Find Learning’ and notice the text ‘ There were 104 results found. Only the first 20 will be displayed.’
