Symptoms

Unable to do a silent install to install PIA for example:

<PS_HOME>/setup/PsMpPIAInstall/setup.sh -i silent -DRES_FILE_PATH=resp_file.txt
  

The installer does nothing and we see the following in the nohup.txt file which gets generated in the same directory you are attempting the installation from:
