Billing for benefits for retirees of multiple organizations is currently being consolidated into a centralized environment. When converting existing retirees, creation of records for each employee created BAS Activity records for RET event but were never used. Open Enrollment events were used and were consistently current or future-dated. Retiree elections were loaded into the Event records so no manual entry was necessary. This worked well as the date used for the Open Enrollment was the date as of which the billing was to be transferred which was always current or future, not past.
However, this process is not working for ongoing maintenance. Interfaces of new retirees are including those retiring in the current month but also some retirements from prior months being reported late. For the last few months, these late retirees have been handled manually to get the correct dates for enrollments and billing purposes. How can this be automated?
