Fluid Browse Course Catalog Does Not Display All Classes (Doc ID 2540474.1)

Symptoms

Discrepancy observed in search results when using Fluid Class Search vs Fluid Browse Course Catalog.

Fluid Class Search will return open, closed, and wait listed classes in its results. Browse Course Catalog sometimes only returns open classes in its list of results, excluding closed and waitlisted classes.

As there is no delivered filter or filter setting for this, the expectation is that these two search tools should return uniform results.

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Navigate to Student Homepage > Profile tile > Class Search and Enroll - it returns all open, closed, and waitlisted classes
  2. Navigate to Student Homepage > Profile Tile > Browse Course Catalog - sometimes only returns open classes in its list of results, excluding closed and waitlisted classes.
