Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running a process involving equation engine, the process inserts orphaned data into the PS_MESSAGE_LOG and PS_MESSAGE_LOGPARM tables for the process FAPEQRUN. The data is assigned a process instance that doesn't match the instance of any scheduled process. Thus when running PRCSYSPURGE, these rows never get purged.

The issue does not occur every time equation engine is used in any form, but only in certain instances; for example, running a process that involves a pop select with equation engine as the method.
