ETL9.2: Misleading Display Of Fluid Rreported Hours Even Before Employee Saves Or Submit Time. (Doc ID 2544302.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Issue#1.

Header area on the top of the Fluid page displays Scheduled: 40, Reported: 40 when the schedule is prepopulating from schedule.

This is misleading by displaying the Reported hours even before the employees saves or submits the time from Fluid timesheet.

Employees looking at the Fluid timesheet wouldn't be able to tell whether they have submitted the time or not.

In classic with above settings it displays "Reported Hours: 0.00 "

Issue2.

When reported time just entered before submitting, the color becomes green. It shouldn't change the color and should stay red as scheduled prior to submitting.

Steps To Replicate

-----------------------

Issue#1:

1.  Choose the Time Pre-population method = "Schedule" on User Preference.

2.  Time defaults to 8 hours per day on the Fluid Timesheet. Employee has not submitted the time, but it displays as ‘Reported 40.00’ in the header.

 Issue#2:

3. When reported time just entered before submitting, the color becomes green.  It shouldn’t change the color and should stay red as scheduled prior to submitting.
