EAR 9.2: Values From Column 'Project Bus Unit, ID, Activity' Not Exported To Excel At Collections Workbench Level (Doc ID 2546486.1)

At the Collections Workbench functionality (Page COLLECTION_WRKBNCH), Users are able to inquire about the information on Customers at many different levels. One of them, would be the transaction details of Items/Invoices posted against Customer Accounts. At that level, there is tab Detail 6, containing among other field values, the column called 'Project Bus Unit, ID, Activity', which shows the Project Costing related ChartFields of Project Costing Business Unit, Project ID, and Activity ID among others, should the Item/Invoice in question have PC related ChartField values in its Accounting Details.

There is the option, once the data is shown in the grid, to export that transaction information into an Excel spreadsheet format. However, when looking at the column 'Project Bus Unit, ID, Activity', there is no value being brought over for the Items/Invoices that had one at the Collections Workbench page. Seems that exporting transaction data into Excel is not including the values stored in this Field/Column.


    1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Receivables User
    2.- Navigate to: Accounts Receivable > Collections Workbench
    3.- Define a Set ID, Business Unit, and Customer ID
    4.- Click on the SEARCH button
    5.- Scroll down to the Item List section, and click on the Details 6 tab
    6.- Confirm that among the columns displayed, there is one called 'Project Bus Unit, ID, Activity'
    7.- Check if there is any Item/Invoice listed that has values contained in this column (if not, re-do the search until you find one)
    8.- Click on the Excel export icon to 'Download Item List Table to Excel'
    9.- Once downloaded, check in the Excel spreadsheet file for the column 'Project Bus Unit, ID, Activity'
    10.- Confirm that it is empty, while there should be the value displayed at the Collections Workbench page

Users are relaying on the Excel spreadsheet format to be able to review large amounts of Invoice/Item information, as transaction data can be filtered, and highlighted for easier use and analysis. Not ensuring that all transaction data is properly defaulted into the Excel file, undermines their confidence in this tool.


All of the transaction information present in the online page of Collections Workbench, within the Item List grid, should be exported into the Excel file.
