Goal

 

Why Substitute item not populated for original item when the requisition sourced to purchase order created through Purchasing Auto Source process ?

Steps

1. Navigate : Setup Financials / Supply Chain > Business Unit Related> Purchasing > Purchasing Definition
2. Select Business Unit Options tab
3. Enable PO Sourcing and Purchase Order option at Allow Auto Item Substitution Section
4. Select "Edit Required When Use Item ID" for PO Item Supp Security Option
5. Navigate :  Items > Define Items and Attributes > Define Item
6. Open Original Item
7. Click Substitutes
8. Add Substitute item at Item level with Automatic Substitution 
9. Create requisition for original Item
10. Run PO Auto Source process
Issue : Created Purchase Order have original Item, it was not replaced with Substitute Item
