Information in this document applies to any platform.
Where an employee is booked on PIA leave, with 1 or more calendars advanced into the current calendar group, the employee's GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY & GPAU_EVNT_TAX_PAY is overstated for that calendar group.
This is because FPTDA accumulators are being resolved in each calendar that their parent is paid, & each calendar thereafter within the calendar group, with the total of each instance of those accumulators being summed in each calendar.
This is resulting in thhe PAYEVNT TotalGrossPaymentsWithholdingA & PayAsYouGoWithholdingTaxWithheldA values being overstated by the same amount.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
KA0004 of Calendar Group Dec 2018 with advance pay in Jan and Feb calendars. Results are shown below for calendar group Dec 2018 with respective Jan and
Feb calendars. Also GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY result data after running the STP Prep Process
1. Dec 2018:
REGPAY STDHR = 4333.33
CAR = 780
Gross Result = 5113.33
CAR_FPTDA = 780.00
REGPAY STDHR_FPTDA = 4333.33
SUP AC SPR GRS PTD = 4333.33
GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY = 4333.33
2. Jan 2019:
ANN = 2800.00
CAR = 474.78
REGPAY STDHR = -162.32
Gross Result = 3112.46
ANN_FPTDA = 2800
CAR_FPTDA = 474.78
REGPAY STDHR_FPTDA = -162.00
SUP AC SPR GRS PTD = 2800 - 162 = 2637.68
Incorrect data in GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY = 4333.33 + 2637.68 = 6971.01
Expected data GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY = 2637.68
3. Feb 2019:
ANN = 1400.00
CAR = 273
REGPAY STDHR = 116.67
Gross Result = 1789.67
ANN_FPTDA = 1400
CAR_FPTDA -= 273
REGPAY STDHR_FPTDA = 116.67
SUP AC SPR GRS PTD = 1400 + 116.67 = 1516.67
Incorrect data GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY = 6971.01 + 1516.67 = 8487.68
Expected data GPAU_EVNT_GROS_PAY = 1516.67
From above results data, we can see there is incorrect result in advance calendars for Gross STP value.
