ECM: Why The Accounting Entries Can Be Created Online For Closed Treasury Fiscal Period (Doc ID 2550379.1)

Goal

Treasury Accounting Entries can be created online for Closed Treasury Fiscal Period. But, the same cannot be done through Accounting Automated Process.

Scenario reported:

1. Enable the calendar Id for business unit (Under Setup/Finacial Supply Chain->Business Unit Related > Treasury)
2. Close an accounting period for the same BU and calendar combo (on Cash management > Fiscal period summary)
3. When initiate the automated process, Accounting entries are not created and process goes success with an error message that Accounting entries can't be created for closed Fiscal period business unit.
4. Whereas the Accounting entries are getting created for closed fiscal period when trying the same through online accounting entries page.
