E-ELM: SCORM1.2 Unable To Acquire LMS API Error In Chrome And Firefox Browser (Doc ID 2554041.1)

Symptoms

Environment:
---------------------
PT 8.56.15 with ELM 9.2 PUM 19 dev instance.

Issue:


When users try to launch an external course video content (SCORM 1.2) it plays fine but with Chrome or Firefox it gives error "error - unable to acquire LMS API, content may not play properly and results may not be recorded".
In the SCORM content logs it shows Error grabbing 1.2 API-SecurityError:Blocked a frame with origin "https://xyz.abc.com:8443" from accessing a cross-origin frame.

Works fine with IE.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create LC with SCORM 1.2 content loaded to PORTAL.WAR web server pathway
2. Launch using IE - success
3. Launch using Chrome or Firefox - error - unable to acquire LMS API, content may not play properly and results may not be recorded"
