Authorization Override Doesn't Use the Delivered AWARD_DISB_ACTION value of 'R'; Is the Override Authorization Indicator Stored Anywhere Else?
(Doc ID 2554062.1)

Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The authorization routine does not use the award activity action of 'R' when authorization is being overridden. The 'R' value would be helpful for the process to use in contrast to the normal authorization action of 'H', to provide some clear indication and a better audit trail for when authorization has been overridden.
On the Disburse Aid w/Override component where the Override Authorization box resides, the "Inspect Element" on that field shows a derived field (DERIVED_SA.OVERRIDE_AUTH), but derived records cannot be used in a query. No other records can be found with a field that resembles "OVERRIDE_AUTH".
Is there a value corresponding to the use of the override box stored anywhere else in the database?
