Last updated on JULY 03, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.56 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Users are getting Forbidden you don't have permission to access....
when navigated to Buyer's Workbench. The buyers component search page displays if url is updated form /psp/ to /psc/.

The url in browser during navigation shows /psp/ however the error points to psc servlet

/psp/dbname/EMPLOYEE/ERP/c/MANAGE_PURCHASE_ORDERS.PO_RC_WB.GBL

An Apache RPS front end device is used

This issue happened after upgraded from PT 8.52.11 to 8.56.12 and from FSCM 9.1 to 9.2.
When connected directly to PIA and bypassing the Apache it's fine.

In 9.1
Apache had policies protecting the application at the root with some explicit resources unprotected

These have included /psc/

In 9.2
Customer asked to change to /psp/ therefore Apache policies are for /psp/ and there is no specific for that Buyer's Workbench URL so it would fall under the default protection of the /.

Error:
