Symptoms

In Overall Installation Option Set up if 'Use Flatten Tree Data' option is selected, then processes that use tree data like Allocation (FS_ALLC), Multi Currency (FS_MC) and ChartField Security Build (SEC_BLD) etc abend at step  FT_TREESEL.GetFltT.GetFltT with below error:

 

 Steps to Replicate:

  1. In PIA navigate to Set up Financials/Supply Chain > install > Installation Options. Click 'Overall' link. Select check boxes corresponding to:
          - Use Flatten Tree Data
          - Maintain ChartField EDR Data
  2. Run any GL core processes like Allocations, Multi-currency or Chartfiel Security build etc which use tree data for chartfields.
