3C Group Security Not Allowing Financial Aid To Share A Checklist With Another Office (Doc ID 2565421.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
3C Group Security Inquiry Indicator does not allow Checklist Code to be assigned under Checklist Management - Person. When Update Indicator is checked instead, it works.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as PS/PS
2. Associate with EMPLID AA0001 to UserId VP1
3. Navigate to Campus Community > Checklists > Set up Checklists > Checklist
3C Group
4. Search for Academic Institution = PSUNV
5. Checklist Code = FINA
6. Add Group: ¿GADS¿ to Update/Inquiry Group
 
7. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration >
UserId > 3C Group Security

8. Search for ID = VP1
 
9. Make sure Update Indicator checkbox is checked
10. Logout and log back in as VP1
11. Navigate to Campus Community > Checklists > Person Checklists > Checklist
Management ¿ Person
 
12.Click Search
 
No Matching values found
13. Click Add New Value
 
14. Click Add
 
15. Fill in the page as follows:
Administrative Function = FINA
Academic Institution = PSUNV
16. Click Checklist Code lookup
 
NOTICE: FINA Checklist Code is showing up in the lookup meaning, it is
assignable.

17. Navigate back to Set Up SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration >
UserId > 3C Group Security
Search for USERID = VP1
 
18. This time, change the checkbox from Update Indicator to Inquiry
Indicator
 
19 Retest the Checklist Assignment -- issue is encountered.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Financial aid checklist information will be used by our registrar's office to help determine residency status for students. Although not crucial now, it will become more and more important as tuition calc for fall term draws closer..
