Symptoms

On : PT 8.55 version, Application Engine

Site has a custom application engine that uses PeopleCode to invoke a Java object, which then connects to an Oracle Database using JDBC. After a PeopleTools upgrade, and Database upgrade from Oracle 11.2.0.4 to 12.2.0.1 the processes generates the error below.

Java Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
