Last updated on JULY 18, 2019

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Purchase Requisitions workflow enabled with dynamic approvals and self-approval roles created for the requesters based on the amount.  If the requester assigned with self-approval role and his supervisor self-approval role then the requisition is not self-approved.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Navigation : EProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Workflow > Approval Process Setup
Create workflow setup with dynamic approvals with Supervisor by UserID
2. Navigation : EProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Workflow > Approval Authorization
Assign user authorizations with self approval (BUYER, Role500 (<=500) and Role5000 (<=5000))
3. Add both roles (self approval roles $500 and $5000) to the requester
4. create a requisition for $700
Issue : Requisition routed to the supervisor instead of self-approved
