Goal

Is there an alternative method to make HTML Email approvals work without enabling POP3/IMAP on the MS Exchange side?

As a background: Customer is currently using HTML Email Approvals for approving absence requests entered by employees. Since HTML eMail approval works based on configuring the IB node with Exchange server credentials through POP3 or IMAP protocol, the company's internal IT team has requested alternatives where POP3 need not be enabled on the exchange server to make this functionality work.

Customer wants to know a work around to make html email approvals work without enabling POP3/IMAP on exchange side, or this is being considered to be released in near future. Customer wants to request an IT Exception request approved for POP3 activation if there are no workarounds.
