Goal

Change assistant step ‘Running the tablespace alter script’ for PT85706 upgrade took 14 hours

In a HCM9.2 PeopleTools only upgrade from PT 8.55.21 to PT 8.57.06

The change assistant step ‘Running the tablespace alter script’(procedure:TablespaceAlterTables) takes a 14 hours when there is no change to the TABLE/RECORD structure for PSFILE_ATTDET.
Oracle moved this table to PSIMAGE2 tablespace in one of the previous tools upgrade and this is a redundant step as the TABLE/RECORD PSFILE_ATTDET is already in PSIMAGE2 tablespace.
Can we comment the script lines for PSFILE_ATTDET in TablespaceAlterTables that create a temporary table and drops the existing table and renames the table as below?
*********************************************************************
14:34:43 SQL> -- Create temporary table
14:34:43 SQL> CREATE TABLE PSYPSFILE_ATTDET (ATTACHSYSFILENAME VARCHAR2(128)
14:34:43 2 DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
14:34:43 3 FILE_SEQ INTEGER DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
14:34:43 4 VERSION INTEGER DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
14:34:43 5 FILE_SIZE DECIMAL(10) DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
14:34:43 6 LASTUPDDTTM tIMESTAMP,
14:34:43 7 LASTUPDOPRID VARCHAR2(30) DEFAULT ' ' NOT NULL,
14:34:43 8 FILE_DATA BLOB) TABLESPACE PSIMAGE2 STORAGE (INITIAL 40000 NEXT
14:34:43 9 100000 MAXEXTENTS UNLIMITED PCTINCREASE 0) PCTFREE 10 PCTUSED 80
