E-PRCS: Process Scheduler Unable To Start After Adding Distribution Node (Doc ID 2574400.1)

On : PeopleTools 8.56 version, Report Distribution

After adding a Report Node to the Process Scheduler server definition the following error occurs when attempting to boot the domain...
(1) =================================Error===============================
(1) The specified destination file for the Report Repository: \\<server name>\psreports
(2) is either not valid or can not be accessed. Verify the following:
(2) 1) The Home Directory and/or Network Path specified in the
(2) Report Node Definition page is not valid
(2) 2) The network ID used to start Process Scheduler has access to this
(2) directory
(2) Due to this error, the Process Scheduler Server will not be started..
(2) Please correct this error prior to attempting to start the server PSNT.

(0) Server failed to start
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Add distribution node name to server definition and save the definition
2. Attempt to boot scheduler domain via 'psadmin' utility
3. Observe error
